Huna is a Hawaiian word adopted by Max Freedom Long (1890-1971) in 1936 to describe his theory of pseudoscience linked to ancient Hawaiian teachings. Long claimed to have learned a secret tradition from Hawaiian friends while working as a school teacher in Hawaii. He founded the Huna Fellowship in 1945 and, starting in 1948, published a series of books on Huna that are still in print. A common Western conception of aboriginal people is that they are primitive but have mystical powers. They understood truth. Indigenous people understand reality as dreamtime or illusion. To tap into any secret teaching is to find the truth behind the illusion as this reality fades to black and out of existence – souls returning to light.
Huna, in Hawaiian, means “secret.” Huna, in its purest form is ancient knowledge enabling a person to connect to his or her highest wisdom within. Understanding and utilizing the fundamentals or “seven principles” of Huna is intended to bring about healing and harmony through the power of the mind. This healing art and earth science is spiritual in nature, experiencing its concepts gives us the opportunity to integrate mind, body and spirit.
Seven Principles of Huna
- IKE – The world is what you think it is
- KALA – There are no limits, everything is possible
- MAKIA – Energy flows where attention goes
- MANAWA – Now is the moment of power
- ALOHA – To love is to be happy with
- MANA – All power comes from within
- PONO – Effectiveness is the measure of truth
Huna Prayers are the ultimate manifestation tool available and directly communicate wishes to Source, in positive terms, to provide a tailor made result.
Here is Huna prayer for abundance, repeat every day during 30 days. There are different versions about Huna prayer. This version is from Tim Whild.
Beloved Archangel Raphael and Divine Source,
I (name) Child of the Light, ask from the centre of my glowing Heart, for the immediate provision of Divine Abundance.
I fully rescind all fear relating to lack, and personally open myself to my God Given Gifts from Source.
I fully open myself to my Limitless Power of Manifestation to provide access to my Source Mission.
In the name of Beloved Source, I now fully accept and gratefully receive all that is NOW provided for me.
IT IS SO.
( repeat three times )
My Beloved Higher Self, I now request from the centre of my Glowing Heart, that you impart this request to Highest Source, along with my fully activated Power of Manifestation.
IT IS SO.
( Breathe this prayer to Archangel Raphael and Source, using the full power of Intention)
Higher Source Love and Light, I now receive my Blessings!
The other Hawaiin prayer is Ho´oponopono.
